CodeMash community news

CodeMash Families and KidzMash are returning to the CodeMash conference in 2009! Story times and group water park activities were a hit for CodeMash families in 2008, and the sessions on LEGO robots and KPL went a long way toward ensuring that CodeMash 2029 will sell out as well. Look for more details on both, coming soon!

A couple cool things driven by CodeMash geeks which you may or may not have known about:

* The @CodeMash alias on Twitter started by Steve Harman. Follow it to get retweets of various CodeMash-related news, tweets, etc.

* Maggie Longshore's transparent GIF file you can add to an avatar picture for your blog, Twitter, etc. I've [Jim Holmes] hosted it on my site for now, but feel free to spread it around: http://iterativerose.com/files/CodeMash-logo-small.gif.

* Joe Fionrini's www.IsItCodeMashYet.com site. Countdown to CodeMash. Love this one!
