CodeMash Precompiler Event for Day 0 Announced!

The CodeMash Precompiler, an optional event on Wednesday, 7 January, 2009, has been announced!

 

The Precompiler is to help CodeMash attendees build foundational skills in languages or domains they're unfamiliar with. The day is full of workshops and tutorials at the 100 level, enabling CodeMash attendees to get the skills to help get the most out of the more advanced topics during the regular CodeMash conference days 8 and 9 January.

 

The Precompiler will feature 100-level full day tutorials in Ruby, Java, and .NET. There will also be half-day workshops on Kanban, Test Driven Development, and iPhone development.  There will also be a day-long Code Jam event running where attendees can drop in and work in a collaborative environment to build software -- feel free to work in an environment you're interested in but unfamiliar with, because we'll have plenty of experts in the room to help!
